How many people can Georgette Thomas hold?

250 seated guests in the main room 

 

Do you require a deposit? When are the payments due? 

We require 30% payment at time of contract signing to reserve your date. The remaining 70% is due 60 days before your event.

 

Do we have to pick from your caterers and bar service?

No! You are free to choose who you would like for your big day! 

 

 Are there overnight accommodations nearby?

We are conveniently located just off Interstate 95 - there are several hotels located within 5 miles of our property including, 

Hampton by Hilton -1.6miles

Tru by Hilton 1.9 miles

Country Inn & Suites 1.9miles

Do you offer in house catering?

We do not. Georgette Thomas is a raw venue where we welcome you to bring in your own vendors.

 

 

What type of tables do you have available as part of booking?


15 - 72” round tables

1 - 3’ round Sweetheart table

10 - 36’’ cocktail tables

3 - 8’ Rectangle Tables

1-3’ round Cake table

 

 

Do I need a day of coordinator?

No we do not require one.

Our hope at Georgette Thomas is for your to curate the wedding of your dreams. Whether you are looking for a formal event bringing in full coordinator and planner or a more layer back affair with grandmas cooking.

 

What time does music need to end?

Due to county ordinances music needs to end by  11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. On Sundays music must end by 10 pm.

  

Can we hang anything from the walls?

Yes, we do allow decor to be hung in the main room. Anything to be hung must have prior authorization with our team so we can provide guidance on the best way to hang. We do not allow any puncturing of walls.

Are all tours by appointment only?

Yes, we ask all tours schedule an appointment.  

 

Are you LGBTQ friendly?

We would be honored to host any couple regardless of gender or preference. It is our desire to celebrate love between any two people! 

 

 

Will there be another wedding on the same day?

No!  You have absolute exclusivity for you, your family and friends.

  

 

Do you provide linens, cups, silverware?

No we do not.  

 

What form of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, Zelle, Credit card 

 

How many restrooms are on site?

We have a mens room and a women’s room inside the building as well as private bathrooms for the bride and groom. 

 

What time will we have access to begin decorating?

You have control of your 10 hour time window. You can begin and end your day as you see fit. We also offer additional hours for $250 an hour

Do you allow dogs / pets onsite for our wedding day?

We are dog friendly! We ask that your furry friend(s) only be a part of your ceremony and for pictures before the reception. Pets are NOT allowed under any roof /covering, or near food. Dogs must be on a leash and someone must be responsible for them other than the bride and groom.  

 

Are we allowed to bring our own alcohol? 

Yes,  you can bring your own, beer and wine.

Am I allowed to have fireworks, sparklers?

Fireworks and sparklers are not allowed.  

Can I use confetti at the wedding?

We do not allow confetti, rice, glitter, bird seed or faux flower petals inside or outside of the Venue.   

 

Do you require  clean-up at the end of the night?

We do require the venue to be in the same condition as when you arrived to the space.

Clean up can be added to your rental for a fee of $250
